New England Wood Floors Inc is looking for skilled Wood Flooring Installers and Sanders to join our team in Pembroke, MA! Responsibilities:
- Install hardwood, engineered, and specialty wood flooring in residential and commercial settings
- Sand and refinish existing wood floors to restore and enhance their appearance
- Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials with precision and attention to detail
- Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper moisture conditions
- Apply stains, sealers, and finish coats to achieve desired results
- Operate and maintain flooring tools and equipment including sanders, nailers, and saws
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members on job sites
Requirements:
- Prior experience in hardwood floor installation, sanding, or finishing preferred
- Knowledge of various wood flooring types, materials, and installation methods
- Ability to operate floor sanders, edge sanders, and related power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites in the greater South Shore and Cape area
- Dependable, hardworking, and a team-oriented attitude
